We first tried this place via takeout on doordash a year ago and it was very memorable. Great presentation and even better taste, and we’ve had a ton of sushi all around the world. Tonight we decided to go in person, it’s a tiny hole in the wall place but the atmosphere is really cozy and welcoming. Would recommend booking in advance as there were less than 10 tables. The sushi is even better at dine in, and the dishes were presented so aesthetically. Because of the smaller place/crowd, the dining experience feels more intimate and the staff takes time to chat and explain dishes to you. We will be going back for sure!
Not your typical sushi restaurant. This was a unique experience as the sushis were not typical rolls, but more like Nigiris. The flavors were quite new as well. They present the food beautifully (great for those who like to take pictures), prices were in line with competitors, servers who pop up with simple eye contact and a nice cozy ambience. Try the sushi made with snow crab, that was our favorite. The restaurant is small so it is always a great idea to book a reservation.
Our favorite sushi restaurant is closed and we hunt for our new go-to. After some nice meh tests, this place is happy tonight! Only on aromas, fresh fish and all the extras. This is my favorite sushi place in Calgary. I recommend reservations. The restaurant is very small and the hours are limited. Sushi should die! As authentic as it can come in Calgary. Nutrition restrictions: Many dishes can be made gluten-free, just mention it to the waitress. Service: Dine in
Best sushi in Calgary. Real Japanese food with great atmosphere, beautiful presentation and so delicious. Service is super nice too. Get the big platters or the sashimi ones. Is such a great experience eating there. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Southern Alberta has the best sushi restaurant in western Canada for a while. And it seems better. Flawless sashimi. Perfect roles. Stellar pressed sushi. Maybe the underestimated sushi bar on this side of Japan. Always impressive. Service: Dine in
Really good sushi. One of my top places in Calgary. I love that they use brown rice in their sushi. Very unique flavour. The service is excellent weather you dine in or take out. Love love love this place!
