We visited here for an evening meal and the ambience, service and food were so good we returned for Sunday lunch (booking advised) later in our holiday. Slightly disappointed that the prix fixe menu was the same, but there are good a la carte options they were happy to serve. Reasonably priced wine list as well. This is proper French country dining!

a good address of simple brewery, French as I love them, and welcoming to chinon. good atmosphere, we eat well, perfect service, good advice from the boss on the choice of wines, reasonable rates. I'll give you this brewery.

possibility of lunch inside and not necessarily on the terrace. menus for children at attractive prices with the possibility of getting out of traditional pepits/frites. a caring staff. clean toilet.
Pas de bol pour moi je suis tombée malade pendant l'entrée. N'allant pas bien du tout j'ai fini aux urgences et la patronne nous a fait payer les 2...
