great. we wanted to book 3 weeks in advance, but the only available time was 6 o'clock! what does that say? good parking on the main street, even directly outside. welcome. kitchen open to see, well placed covers and attentive staff. a special intro ' and the head on a board brought to the table. more excellent departure, not long to wait. I can say I don't like 'French pommes' they could come from mcdonalds) but everything else was perfect. clean toilets and beautiful simple furnishings. definitiw even to the high but reasonable praises.
After we have booked and read the fabulous reviews, we were very happy to do so. I'm afraid I was quite underwhelmed when I expected big things. the personal is pleasant and obligated, but eating was clearly average and was quite expensive. I was also worried about how many people were in a small room. I know the dings were difficult for the hospitality trade and everyone counts penny, but in the current Kovid situation it was to do. maybe we were just unhappy, but it was disappointed
Excellent menu, beautifully cooked and presented good. If recommend the sharing chateaubriand! Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Quite cosy, not cramped as such, but seating is thoughtfully laid out to maximise space. Staff all so professional, friendly and attentive. Would always recommend here, I think it's one of the strongest restaurants in the local area for a consistently excellent dining experience. It's been a while since I last dined here, but I can honestly say it is still one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The food is exceptional, the staff are super attentive and will go above and beyond without a hesitation. The venue is small but beautifully and intimate. If they weren't fully booked months in advance, I would dine here every week.

As I am new to the area, today was my first visit to Verite for lunch. The menu was refreshingly wide and eclectic. The food was superbly cooked , delicious and the components well chosen to provide a contrast of taste and texture. The service was excellent, being attentive but not obtrusive. A venue I look forward to visiting again and again.
visited a night with my wife. started in her bar next door, which is really well left and decorated. the workers were really good and had snails and white wine as a snackhad menu in the main restaurant, which was really good and that was delicious. we both had fish, the beautifullybig food and restaurant
Amazing place. This was my first visit and I'd heard so many good reviews of it. It didn't disappoint! Absolutely delicious food, wide-ranging menu, excellent service. Recent introduction of an adjoining bar next door allows you to enjoy drinks in the surroundings before and after, and we did!
Visited for lunch, and as always didn't disappoint. The main portions were generous and very good. Recommend the garlic hotdog which came on a pretzel bun, lovely twist. Nice to come for lunch rather than dinner, and will visit again soon

I was very impressed with the restaurant, some fantastic dishes. I would recommend trying the snails, soup and the bream. Nice ambience and not too expensive
