The staff is always friendly there. I never have a bad time. they're very attentive. My husband always tells me that the fried chicken. He says it is the best there so I went there late one night and of course they were out of the fried chicken. But other than that everything was great I would have gave them five stars if they would have had the fried chicken for me.
a few times here and the service was great every time. usually I meet family, as it is half the point between vegas and sacramento and we always choose this place because we know that this place treats her mozens right. if they haven't been in a black bear yet, this is a great place to try.
Loved the atmosphere, not your typical Bakersfield flare... was seated within 5 minutes... very busy mid morning on a Saturday. The portions where huge, the food was very appealing to the eye, and yummy. The food service was good. Will go back..the coffee was delicious...

the personal was friendly. we ordered a danish as an appetizer, very good. I had a honeymoon breakfast. it was cooked great; crispy outside and soft inside sides. definitiw a great experience
Our waitress Jackie Rodriguez was awesum very sweet brought our food nice and hot and always had a beautiful smile. I will defently go back service was great and food was yummy..
