Had lunch at this delightful cafe. Catering for all budgets and tastes, we never left hungry. My husband thoroughly enjoyed and devoured his pork belly vegies, while my vegetarian tastes were well and truly catered for. A delicious falafel, halmoui and beetroot mash, w/fresh garden salad was a delight. The cafe is situated on a working farm, and you are able to walk the well tended garden where they have fluffy chickens, parrots, copious amounts of birdlife flitting in out amongst the spring flowers whilst you enjoy the delights of the cafe. Hidden gem in Tasmania's Tamar Valley! I have traveled extensively and was pleasantly surprised by this quaint cafe in the countryside. The customer service was exceptional, ranking at 11 out of 10, and the chef's meals were equally outstanding. I tried the daily special, Salmon Patties with a side of fresh salad, and it was absolutely perfect. My partner enjoyed the Turkish Vegetable roll, which was also perfect. Our friends ordered the soup of the day and a late breakfast for a Keto Diet, both of which received high praise. I could go on and on about how much we loved everything, but I know that once the word gets out, we may never be able to secure a table again.
Located literally in a barn in a paddock, this very pleasant eatery is a wonderfully old-fashioned experience. Very pleasant people, spotless indoors restaurant, pleasant outdoor eating when the weather is kind, and a range of home-prepared foods with the emphasis on fresh and straightforward. Their beef lasagne is wonderful, as indeed their simple but refreshing desserts. The genuine warmth of the welcome, and the ever-fresh and enjoyable menu offerings, make this venue well worth the drive.
Found at the top of the rise, in the Frankford Road, this is a good comfortable stop. A cafe predominantly, they also sell fresh blueberries in season, cards, clothing and Shoping bags, and a lot of other stuff. But the cafe is the winner- fresh and filling sandwiches and paninis, Nacho's, Soups and a range of other foods, cakes, slices and gourmet biscuits! Don't forget the coffees, milkshakes and iced drinks( yes they do a Blueberry milkshake if requested. vey good service too.
This cafe is truly a hidden gem! We stumbled upon it while searching for a coffee and breakfast spot on our way to St. Helen's. As soon as we pulled in, we were greeted by chickens and treated to a beautiful landscape surrounding the quaint cafe. The strawberry jam was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was great. The hot chocolate was a hit with our driver. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly. Don't pass up the chance to visit this charming cafe!
We went into this Cafe for coffees. There were about 13 of us and the bus driver. It was a very neat well presented Coffee Shop. I've driven past previously and never thought to stop but we will now that we have had great coffee. The menu looked good. Well done for the owners to set this Cafe up.
What a fantastic little café! It was cozy, inviting, and extremely friendly. The menu was excellent with a wide selection to choose from, and my meal was delicious, hot, and packed with flavor. It was such a delightful lunch. Thank you for the exceptional customer service.
BBB has the best scones and jam in Northern Tas. Wow, we drove 50 mins to have them and were not disappointed. All the food is good here but the scones/Devonshire tea is exceptional … well worth the trip.
The scones were good and the real jam and cream was delicious. The falafel special with beetroot mash was incredibly good. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and chickens in view out the windows.
