I came here months ago for the drink special. Supposed to get 1 free when you order 2. That proved to not be true. The drinks were horrible btw. Had an itch for some banh mi and spring rolls so I decided to give this place a try again. No one ever answered the phones. I was gonna do a phone order. When I got here I ordered the spring rolls. They don?t make them they only have them pre made and they were out. Bummer. Sandwich was ok. I won?t ever come back.
Honestly some of the best food I?ve tried in LA. I?m from London and noticed a lot of the American cuisine is overly sweet or overly salty and lacks a lot of flavour. I ordered a pork and shrimp rice box, pork spring rolls and some egg rolls. Egg rolls were fresh from the fryer and the rice box was lovely and warm. Ingredients tasted so yummy, fresh and overall it?s decently priced too.
Tasty food at an amazing value!! During these times when everyone is raising prices like crazy, they are still selling banh mi for around 5.50! Amazing! The other day I got ripped off by some other place that sold banh mi for $8! Not only is the banh mi here a great deal it's really good!! Before covid, I'd also tried their chicken pho which was tasty and cheap as well.
I ordered the #14 that is chicken meat with rice or bread to take off. The usual older lady cook brings my take-out and calls my ticket number. When I came home, she gave me a simple noodle soup! Unbelievable. I wanted to call, but they wouldn't pick up the phone. Make sure to check your articles before you go.
First, great customer service sometimes it can take a while for food, but that is just a sign that it is guaranteed to be fresh. I would recommend to everyone to enjoy the Vietnamese cuisine. 10/10
Value!!! And always served by a super nice group of employees. Great for going home style cooking regardless of breakfast, lunch or dinner
