We/I have totally enjoyed this really, lovely restaurant on many occasions but this is my first review. Our daughter lives in Hobart after marrying in to a Tasmanian family. On each and subsequent visits with different family members, we always try to include a visit to the Boatshed. Quality never differs, but don't go pass the chowder - best value is the tasting plate as an entree!!!
Had a booking for 6pm Arrived at 555 weren't allowed in .Doors opened at 6.Staff friendly. Food average. After awhile noticed staff drinking behind bar And with someone they obviously knew at a table. Not good for a pricey venue. Don't think we will bother coming back !!
We really liked this restaurant. Great location and views. I was very pleased to find a vegetarian main course on the menu, which they did vegan for me. Absolutely delicious. And then they found me some vegan sorbet for dessert!
Loved the view, menu was extensive and the steaks were exceptional. A great evening. Try the mixed platter starter, meats and cheeses, great sharing plate and enough for three. Worth a visit. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Beautiful views with a great restaurant catering for all tastes for both lunch and dinner. A very relaxed atmosphere wher we weren't rushed and the service was excellent and attentive
Everything else was fabulous, but the noise and the echoes from the wooden floor high above the sands was very difficult to deal with. We are elderly and enjopy a quieter environment
This recently renovated restaurant is located away from the busy Main Rd in Moonah. The restaurant is brand new and features a spacious interior.

I visited this fantastic restaurant for lunch and ordered the seafood chowder with some warm crusty bread.
