My experience at the restaurant was decent, but I noticed a significant decline in quality. It seems that many restaurants are cutting corners these days, and Bonefish is no exception. Prior to the pandemic, I always enjoyed my visits to Bonefish. The Bang Bang Shrimp and calamari we ordered as appetizers were just as tasty as I remembered. However, I found that there wasn’t as much shrimp in the dish anymore; it was mostly filled with lettuce. A few months ago, I met a friend for dinner at this restaurant, and even though it was my first visit, I can confidently say I will return. It was a Sunday evening, and the place wasn't very crowded. Since we didn’t have a reservation, we were seated at a table in the bar area. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was particularly attentive and genuinely pleasant. I ordered a pineapple martini, and it was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a lovely evening filled with great food and drinks in a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!
This was my first visit since the pandemic, and I was impressed by the food—it was seasoned with love! I opted for the Mahi Mahi shrimp, and it was delightful. Our waitress, Nicole, provided excellent recommendations and made us feel very welcome. On the downside, the bartender was a bit inattentive with the drink orders; I had to wait 10 minutes for my second Blueberry Lemon Drop, even though the restaurant was relatively quiet with only about 10 diners. On a brighter note, the key lime pie was wonderfully soft and absolutely delicious.
After reaching out to the Bonefish Grill on Midlothian Turnpike, we spoke with the manager, Brett, who refused to help us with our issue. We asked for a replacement for the incorrect meal and a refund, but he refused to meet our request. It was disappointing to see their unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistake or to seek a compromise. Incredible service! The food and drinks were exceptional, exceeding all my expectations. I highly recommend visiting! The menu was thoughtfully designed. If you're a fan of spinach-artichoke dip, you'll absolutely love the creamed spinach side—it’s fantastic! I even took my leftovers home to enjoy later with tortilla chips. The bang bang shrimp is, as always, remarkable, but their calamari was a delightful surprise!
It was a relatively quiet Thursday evening, and our waitress was quite attentive. As for the food, I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, which I love, but it was over-seasoned with cayenne pepper. The corn crab chowder tasted like it came straight from a can, and my wife's fish dish lacked flavor. The highlight of the meal was my beer, but unfortunately, we won't be returning. Sorry.
I had an early lunch, and I must say the service was excellent. Every dish I tried was delicious, and the shrimp in each one was cooked to perfection. I especially loved the pasta, which had a lovely light sauce. My mother enjoyed her pineapple martini as well. The crab fries were served hot and tasted fantastic.
Our server, Carol, was exceptional. Everything we ordered arrived promptly, hot, and beautifully presented. Carol was very knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. This restaurant is amazing! My husband and I decided to have dinner here last night for our date, and we had a wonderful experience. The server was outstanding and very attentive. The food was exceptional! We will certainly be returning.
