This is my second review for this restaurant, and I felt compelled to share my experience again because the service has been outstanding on my recent visits! We've been fortunate to have a chef named Frank, and he is truly exceptional. He seasons the hibachi dishes to perfection and has a warm and friendly demeanor. We appreciate his service so much that we’ve started tipping him; the first time we did, he was surprised and asked if we were sure! I will definitely request Frank again if it’s an option. Overall, the service here is fantastic, which might explain why the restaurant is always busy! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.
Brought the family here for a quick hibachi lunch and got a great family meal that was enjoyed by all. The host was very friendly and prompt at seating my family and the waitress got our drink and food order almost right away. The soup/salad combination was great and had excellent flavor. The chef was very entertaining and brought the table into the whole experience. The food was cooked perfectly and did not disappoint at all. The prices for lunch are reasonably priced and will not break the bank for lunch although you may want to give yourself a few extra minutes on your lunch break as it could take longer than the typical “hour lunch”.
that is my 2nd review for this restaurant. I wanted to write another because the service I received the last painting was great! we called the chef frank and he is wonderful! he always seasons the hibachi perfectly. he is also very friendly. we love his service so much that we started to tap him. the first time we did it, he asked if we were safe. I will ask frank if it is allowed to ask this question. overall the service in this restaurant is great! Maybe they are always busy! if in the opposite I recommend to stop at lunch or dinner.
I hadn't been since I was a kid. Food was good. Ambiance wasn't as great as I remembered. They have a sign on the wall leading to the hibachi side that states a 10% automatic gratuity is applied to all tickets.

My family and I have eaten here twice and both times we were completely satisfied with the whole experience!!! The sushi is amazing both in beauty and taste!!!
Everything was fantastic, as always. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp was delicious. I truly enjoy every visit to Bonsai.
Spider roll was horrible it tastes like burnt old crab . This place is disgustingly overrated. I would prefer OEC any day over them
best hibachi and sushi in jackson. it is super easy to order online and pick up in the window. eating is always consistently good.

Love Bonsai, great food and staff! They take great care of me every time I'm there. My favorite sushi restaurant!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! The steak was tender, and I absolutely loved the noodles! I'm definitely going back!
