Brasserie Lucille - Tisch resevieren

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with our kids. We used Brasserie Lucille website's online reservation and arrived at the place 10 minutes early but we were promptly seated. The place was almost full (like half were from those having a party) so you can imagine how noisy it is inside. My kids immediately noticed the dim lights and said “It’s dark in here.” The restaurant is small; tables are cramped so if you are not a fan of someone occasionally bumping your chair while eating (unless you’re seated at the booth), this might present a challenge for you.The staff was accommodating and efficient; wait time was acceptable. I wanted to take my mom out for her birthday and she had mentioned that she was in a mood for lobster. I thought great! I had just read a pretty good review of Lucille's Brasserie in La Presse the week before which suggested that this would be a good place for lobster. I double checked the online menu to make sure there was indeed lobster and sure enough, they have a "whole grilled lobster" on the menu (not cheap but hey it was a special occasion). As we are about to order, the waitress informs us that 2 items are not available...including the lobster! Made reservations for 4 people for my daughter's Birthday. Arrived on time was told our table would be available in a few minutes. The hostess was definitatly inexperienced. Empty table was being held for a party of 6. Later our table became available but now was being held for a party of 7. Hostess apologized she had made a mistake. What is the point of making a reservations for an occasion only to be bumped. After waiting half an hour we left. Management get your act together the place looked very unorganized.We won't be back and will not recommend.

A casual bistro with a very nice menu. Unfortunately 5 of the mains on the menu were not available. We had salads and one order of clams as a starter and all very good. Sat near the window so you can see the world go by. My husband had the **** Mary which was amazing as it included a shrimp,oyster and a crab claw.The chicken was excellent and I had the lobster. Lucille's provides very consistent food, but also a very fun and young ambiance. The steaks, particularly the filet mignon, are absolutely delicious and the veal chop is the best I've ever had. However, I've been to Lucille's with older people, and since the restaurant is incredibly loud, it did not allow for the most enjoyable experience for them. Also, the portions are huge and will leave you stuffed, so I suggest sharing!

This hopping place is so over the top noisy that it's almost painful. The clear station is next to the bar so the clatter of plates is always heard .The music is ramped so high, we were literally screaming across the table to converse. The food is good but way too expensive for what it is and they usually run out of items that you would generally go for. I guess this is a place to be seen...at a hefty price.

Great Food, Bar tender was real good suggestions for food spot on we ate at the bar. octopus was tender and perfect, fish taco wow, cauliflower whew, lobster rolls. Ambiance was fantastic

I always come back here for their seafood and steaks, their meet is cooked to perfection. This place is a must try
