On July 6, 2023, I visited this restaurant and ordered a wrap along with two panini sandwiches. After a 25-minute wait, the staff member who took my order informed me that they were out of panini bread, despite my seeing other employees preparing multiple panini sandwiches. There was no line at the time, and sandwiches were actively being made. If they were truly out of bread, she should have notified me immediately. I ended up leaving in frustration. They really need to improve their communication and service.
I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. First, I expected a delicious, fresh bagel on a Sunday, but that was not the case. Second, I ordered a grilled chicken pumpernickel bagel, and that's exactly what I received—plain and without any condiments. Third, I paid extra for avocado, but there was none included. Fourth, I requested a Greek salad and ended up with a macaroni salad instead. On a positive note, the pickle was excellent.
I was given a $50 gift card from this location due to repetitive issues with orders we placed. When I went in recently to use it, they told me there were no funds on it and basically told me “too bad.” They told me they don’t expire and don’t know what went wrong. Yet, there was no record of use. I left my name and number and the manager never called me. This was a week ago.I’d caution a) visiting this location and b) purchasing gift cards.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a wide variety of menu options, but the service and order organization leave much to be desired. Despite not being overly busy and having a large staff, it took 15 minutes for them to recognize us and take our order for a simple egg sandwich, and then another 15 minutes to actually receive it. I hired Brendel's for catering on the morning of my wedding and the following day, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They were incredibly easy to work with and delivered right on time. The bagels, baked goods, and fruit were all fresh and delicious, and my guests were thrilled. I would absolutely order from them again!
I am leaving them five stars but in truth, they probably don’t deserve five stars not because anything was bad, but nothing was great. They do have a huge selection to choose from the food is pretty good. The decor is pretty good. You can make coffee at the coffee bar and prepare yourself, which is a thumbs up for me.
First time there was very clean and food was good. Loved the home fries they were so good with the onions and peppers. Bagels were fresh and good. Definitely will be going here again.
