I recently ordered dinner for takeout, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was decent but not remarkable, earning a rating of 3 out of 5. However, the service was commendable, with a rating of 4 out of 5, as the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere of the restaurant also received a solid 4 out of 5; even though I was dining at home, I could tell that the setting would be enjoyable for those eating in. In summary, it's a good option for a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.
I enjoyed the flake here; it was a generous portion and had a nice firm texture. The lady was kind enough to swap out the chips for potato cakes. However, I wasn't a big fan of the potato cakes, as the batter was a bit too thick for my taste. I get the impression that this might be common in Hobart, particularly at the smaller family-run places. Next time, I’ll be sure to order some extra tartar sauce and ask for a side salad if possible.
Over the past three or four days, I've been ordering the Aussie burger, and it is truly exceptional! Today, I tried the Aussie burger with chips and gravy, and it was equally amazing. The burger might look a bit messy, but that's exactly how I like it. These guys consistently make the best burger I've ever had. I will definitely keep coming back for more! I absolutely love the food!
"The takeaway food was excellent! The chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned with chicken salt. The store was very clean, and parking was convenient with two entrances and one exit. The service was outstanding—thank you! It's a very kid-friendly place, perfect for dining in or taking out. Wheelchair accessibility is available with a ramp. Overall, a great spot for lunch!"

The food here is excellent! I've ordered the kebabs twice, and they have authentic kebab meat. The burger with everything on it is fantastic as well. Overall, I would rate it 5 out of 5. Service was great, and it’s perfect for dinner. The price per person is around A$20–40. Food gets a solid 5!
If you are looking for a real burger, tasty and great value this is the place to go! Probably one of the best burgers around Hobart. Aussie and American burgers are my favourites, the chips are perfections! You cannot be disapointed, highly recommanded! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Very impressed by the gentleman serving me in regards to manners but even more important the food was excellent and I believe to be fairly priced, our new go to fish and chip shop and I will be recommending others do the same, you won’t be disappointed. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. However, they should consider using less BBQ sauce on the burgers.
Good little takeaway shop. Loved the fish burger! Super fresh and crispy. Super friendly staff.
