Definitely not a full sample, as we went during the current 2022 winter lockdown. They had a little tent city patio setup with heaters and a tv.Beer was cold and well priced.With the patio being wrapped up in tarps, with heaters, it was actually very bearable outside.I didn't get any food this time around, but everything smelt and looked great.The inside was a little worse for wear, but I can just equate that to not having anybody eat/drink inside for a while.Definitely has a good locals bar type vibe, especially with it's unique location in Port Robinson. Look forward to next summer to enjoy some patio drinks after riding the Port Robinson ferry.
Went for lunch with a local historical group, researching the old canals. We were ALL in agreement that the food was absolutely delicious. I crossed my daughter on our spyders. we sat on the terrace and had their big tacos. really tasty, and the staff and moss have made us feel at home. a perfect lunch stop when they make a trip.

a great foundation in the historical port robinson, named after the legendary waveand canal bridge, which has not been anymore since 1974. two thumbs for the atmosphere.

great pub food, good portions, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. we took the ferry over the canal and went over. it was a nice little outing.
