I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to Brolly Hut. The new staff members gave off a vibe that made me uncomfortable, and their rudeness was off-putting. They left my food sitting on the counter for over five minutes without any attention while they just stood there staring. It seems like there's a lack of professionalism that wasn't there before, especially with the departure of the previous female employees who were always friendly. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and it’s disheartening to feel this way. I won’t be returning until I feel more at ease. I hope improvements are made!
As always, this is one of my favorite spots for comfort food. Even though it's quite a trek for me since I live in West LA, I would gladly make the drive for their amazing chicken tacos and zucchini fries! The staff is friendly and quick with service, and I tend to order quite a bit! Just a heads-up: bring cash, as they don't accept credit cards—it's an old-school vibe, but totally worth it! Much love to Brolly Hut!
Great breakfast! This place gets really busy during the morning, so I totally understand that the food might take a bit longer to arrive. You can see the staff working hard in the back, doing their best to get everyone's orders out. Just be patient; it's worth the wait. It's a fantastic spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner—especially after a long day at work.
The exterior is captivating and invites you in, but the food will make you want to return. Be sure to try the pastrami sandwich—it's lean, juicy, and generously sized. The fries are excellent as well. My only complaint is that the Beef Dip could use a bit more juice. I'm looking forward to exploring something new from their extensive menu on my next visit! This was my Very First time trying Brolly Hut, I literally have never set foot in this place til this day. I got a Turkey Burger Combo, it was pretty good. I had bubble Guts by the time I got to the last bite. Thanks for the experience Brolly Hut, I can say I've been to this Long time Landmark. I also can say, won't ever be back.
On another occasion, we tried their breakfast, and we were disappointed. None of the dishes had much flavor, and even the syrup was lacking. We won't be going back for breakfast. However, we’re excited to return and explore more items on the lunch and dinner menu!
Been coming here since I was 6 year old kid growing up in Inglewood..now I'm 43. Still delicious and my favorite spot to visit every trip to the Wood.
