The Sunday roast was delicious. Every item on the plate was cooking to perfection, from the airy but moist Yorkshire pudding to the the succulent stuffing and nut roast and the deliciously flavoured red cabbage. I believe the meat was good too but as I had the veggie roast, I'm taking someone's word for it! All served efficiently by staff with big smiles. Thank you very much. We dined at Brouge last night and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Although they were quite busy, we didn't have to wait long for service or our food. It's clear that they use quality ingredients, prepared by a chef who truly cares about the dishes that leave the kitchen. Every ingredient on my plate was a delight to taste. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!
We visited on Saturday when it was freezing outside. The staff welcomed us warmly and kindly accommodated our request to sit by the fire, even bringing extra logs. The waiter/barman suggested the Belgian stew with stoemp, which not only warmed us up but was also incredibly delicious. We left feeling cozy and satisfied. The price per person was between £20 and £30.
Have been twice now. Highly likely to go again. Good quality food, but not quite five star, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, that's just me. Very friendly. Comfortable surroundings. I love the place. for beer lovers there is a great menu with Belgian beer. eating is so good. it is really rare to find a place where they can find both eating and drinks for a good price and high quality.
