She struggled to ask for assistance to retrieve a few bottles from a more accessible middle shelf. After the fall, she went home but unfortunately, she could not get an X-ray, and the lump remained large and tender for a week. This happened around Halloween, so the store was particularly busy, and she tried to handle it on her own instead of asking for help. Having lived in Montpelier her whole life, she loves shopping at your store, but as her daughter, I want to advocate for better accessibility for her and other customers. She's quite stubborn and wants to continue shopping independently, but I believe it's important for management to be aware of these types of incidents.
Visiting this place felt like stepping into a store from the 1950s. My family and I received the coldest stares, and I truly felt unwelcome. There were two employees who added to the unpleasant experience—an impatient older woman in the deli and a cashier with short hair. If I knew their names, I wouldn’t hesitate to share them. I even spoke to a man about the situation, but nothing changed. I try to do most of my shopping elsewhere to avoid encountering such negativity and prejudice!

The selection is decent, and the organization is good. The fresh produce and bakery items are consistently nice. There’s a wide variety of canned and other budget-friendly foods available. You can also find some extra items like hardware, utensils, and cleaning supplies.

we were in the opposite for a family meeting and it was nice to have this small market close. we could find everything we needed. a family.
