Ate here for the first time. We choose the menu for $30 dollars a person with the kebabs at an extra $6. The tabouli salad was good the other one promised roasted pita bits but there were none. I asked the server about it and she said sorry but we are out of pita bread. The calamari my partner ordered never came either, it was not fit to eat said the chef. So we both had the sampler of warm and cold appetizers which consisted of a spoon full of hummus, a spoon full of baba ganoui a spoon full of tabouli salad and a luke warm dolmade . My wife and I have been to Byblos several times and have never been disappointed. The food is fantastic and the service is great. Most recently we introduced our neighbours to Byblos. Five of us had the Chef's Table and two others ordered specific items off the menu. To give you an idea of the terrific customer service, as we were winding our evening down, Sam (the chef / owner) was at our table making sure everybody had enjoyed themselves and asked "Is there anything I can get anybody?". After the usual replies of "no thanks, everything was great and we are all full" my son (24) pipes up saying how good the lamb chops were, and "one more would be great". Wow this little place in a non de script strip mall was wonderful!Went on a Friday for an early dinner. Was warmly greeted and shown a table. Service was great. Told about happy hour options. Asked questions about the menu and the server was very knowledgeable. Received a "taster" from the chef while waiting for my meal. Very nice. Had the lamb shish kabob. Fresh in that day from Northumberland. Fabulous. During my meal the chef came out to ask how things were. Very impressed with his attentiveness. All the menu items are local and fresh. Great place. Prices are reasonable and the service was excellent .
The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful in helping us decide what to try. Very friendly staff what impressed me the most was the chef came out and asked us how the food was...... I had the shawarma and my friend had the lamb was amazing portions were plentiful. I told them I will be back it's hard to find good Lebanese food and this place is amazing
A couple of friends of mine and I ate here last night, I ordered mixed kebab it is next to none!! Everyone else ordered lamb shish kebab, chicken kebab, lamb kofta kebab! We tried each other's and we all agreed that this place is a hidden gem !! Amazing atmosphere and very well maintained, all around amazing restaurant!!
Just had an absolutely amazing experience. The wait staff are so friendly (Alycia). We sat at the bar and shared a bunch of item and they sent out some complimentary treats. Really made us feel VIP. The feeling is very comfortable and relaxed but upscale feeling. We will be back for sure!!Thank you!
We've dined here several times. Each was a very positive experience. Excellent hummus, tabouli, kebabs, grilled veggies etc. Staff are very friendly and courteous. The chef takes a personal interest in patrons and often visits at tables.
I've been in Canada for a week now. Byblos is the most delicious restaurant I've been too! Happy to find great Lebanese food in Canada. I have to mention that the place and the toilets were exceptionally clean.
What a great lunch. Authentic lebanese food. We had mezze for starters and 5 different main courses. Each of them were outstanding. We will definitively go more often!!!
