Another very nice dinner at Cafe Antonio. We have celebrated a number of family birthdays and events here, always great. Service was friendly efficient attentive and knowledgeable. Tables are not on top of each other, and it was nice to have a private conversation in a crowded room. The winner of the night was the special sushi tuna appetizer. There was a generous portion of absolutely perfect fresh tuna decoratively arranged atop 4 large crisp, delicious pita chips. on the plate. The 4 of us started with 4 excellent cocktails. Well done bartender. We sat in the main restaurant room. The soup and Caesar salad was excellent. The other three guests with me loved the salmon and pasta. My dinner I’m sorry to say wasn’t good. I ordered the shrimp scampi. I know what shrimp scampi is since I order it all the time elsewhere. The penne pasta and 5 NOT jumbo shrimp were totally submerged in scampi sauce. Actually it was almost all melted butter. Very little garlic and seasoning. The problem when I say submerged I mean was 100% under the melted butter. Will I return YES. Everything was excellent but that. I just won’t order that
The Dining Room has been renovated and is lovely! The chairs so comfortable too! Eddie, our server, is professional, and we were happy to see him again. His recommendation of broccoli and chicken, with Fettuccini Alfredo, a winner. My husband loves the Pasta Purses and they were generous with seafood. The Thai Calamari is excellent and a favorite. Our cousins had the Gnocchi and Veal Saint James. Requested no mushrooms and Saint James was as ordered. We appreciate side salads with dinner! And we all had leftovers to enjoy at home.
The food and service were excellent. The pasta purses were delicious! The noise level was very high and it was difficult at times to hear the person sitting across from me. I understand that the Restaurant was recently renovated and would suggest adding something that would absorb some of the sound.

Our waiter came when seated, brought our drinks, then disappeared for 45 minutes. We had to ask the bartender to find him so we could order. Food was good once received.
Loved the new bar (First time I’ve been back here). The ambiance was nice. Everyone enjoyed their food. Overall I would recommend my friends and family.
