My girlfriend and I enjoy exploring different restaurants, and we found this one to be quite good. However, despite the "Café" in its name, there were no breakfast or brunch options available. The drinks were decent, and the food was overall enjoyable. I ordered the Chimichurri steak, while she had the chicken milanesa. The steak was cooked to the perfect medium-rare, but unfortunately, it had a taste that reminded me of fuel. On the bright side, the chimichurri sauce was fantastic, and the sides were also really delicious. My girlfriend tried the oysters and absolutely loved them. The service was exceptional—quick, attentive, and friendly. I would definitely come back, but I hope the steak...
Rounding up from 3.5. We came at around 3pm so it was really quiet after a trip to Knight's Ferry Bridge. To get to the dining area, you have to walk through the bar. We were seated quickly and attended to. The food seems more tex-mex to me, versus the typical taqueria menu. Order: -Volcano: This was something recommended and sure was an eruption. It's served in a molcajete and sauces were hot and bubbling. It comes with a side of flour/corn tortilla, refried beans, arroz verde, pico de gallo, guacamole, cheese, and sour cream to share for two. Because the stone is so hot, the steak, shrimp, and chicken got really tough and overcooked by the midway point. Otherwise, it sure was an experience...
Lively place in oakdale that I stopped at for dinner on my drive to Yosemite. Was seated right away, the free chips and salsa were SO crispy and good (a little spicy and more interesting than mild salsa). Shrimp fajitas were great, would recommend. At first I thought the prices were a little high but then realized the portions are really generous.
Went there for the first time Sunday had shrimp enchilada was pretty good did not care to much for the rice kind of pricey was disappointed did not have a senior discount I think all restaurants should either have a senior menu or a senior discount

Chipotle shrimp enchiladas were amazing. Excellent service, Great drinks, affordable prices. Everyone ordered different plates and everyone was highly impressed. Not in this area often but have a new reason to be.
Food was great, server was a snotty lil bratty chick who acted bothered by our Presence.. if u want good food look here , just don’t expect great service…

The refried beans and rice are delicious. The service is excellent, and it’s quiet enough to comfortably chat with my friends.

It's all good at Cafe Bravo. I don't order steak at restaurants, so I don't get disappointed. They can grill a steak.
The best food in Oakdale, and now they offer fresh oysters that are absolutely delicious!
