I headed here with my teenage kiddo on a Monday night figuring it wouldn't be too busy. It wasn't exactly busy but there seemed to be only one waitress and we waited a long time for just about everything. I got their meatball float, which I just LOVED. Iloved the flavor of the sauce and the size, texture and flavor of the meatballs. The bread that came with it was perfectlycrispy and chewy. My son didn't like his Chicken Alfredo at all. I had a bite and it had a strong taste that may have been wine?Not sure. I didn't care for it either. We waited quite a while for the waitress to ever come back to give us the bill. Although I would normally give you 5 stars because I have always enjoyed your dinners. Tonight we ordered out. Hubby got the usual spaghetti and meatballs. I thought I would try something different tonight, so I ordered what I thought was an antipastosalad. It was listed with the salads but was no where near a salad. It had maybe 3 pieces of lettuce topped with a huge amountof meat and cheese and probably the biggest olives I have ever seen, and so many. It is very misleading to have this listed as asalad and I really didn't enjoy this at all. I don't know many people who can eat a whole dish of just meat and cheese andolives. Sorry for the rant, but please move this item away from the salad...
This was our first time at Calarco's as we wanted to try something different. We definitely enjoyed our dinner. The food was terrific and the sauce is really good and there are plenty of good menu options to choose. The old time restaurant atmosphere and pictures on the wall were also nice. We will definitely return to this restaurant again.

I felt welcome from the moment I walked into the tavern. Val was amazing and the dinner I took back to my motel was delicious! Very warm and welcoming.
