Last-minute holiday order. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy, quick, and enjoyable everything was. It was quite busy since many others had the same idea, but the service remained excellent. The food was really good. I requested a drink holder, and to my surprise, the server offered to carry it for me, even though they were swamped. This really highlights how helpful and attentive the service was during the hectic holiday rush. The food was bursting with flavor and truly delicious. California Pizza Kitchen is a chain and most are very good. This one in Lakewood is super, from the food to the service. We have dinned there a few times and always loved it. This time we grabbed take away to share with family at home. We were so pleased. The service is fast and the servers are great. Our items came fresh and the pizza was hot. It was all so good. I love the Thai pizza, is has carrots on it so I think of it as a vegetable--got my veg. in for the day. Their meat pizzas are so good. The crust is great. This review reflects my appreciation for the outstanding service I consistently receive from Vanessa—she's truly the best! She has been with this location since it opened and is always friendly and helpful, remembering little details about returning customers, which is a lovely touch. Besides the fantastic service, the food is also delicious. CPK offers a generous rewards program that is free to join. The avocado egg rolls make for a fantastic appetizer, and the chocolate soufflé and butter cake are delightful desserts that provide a sweet ending to any meal.
I always look forward to a delicious meal when I visit CPK. The service is consistently good, and the atmosphere is always enjoyable. I had to head to Lakewood since the Cerritos location is now closed, and I wasn't sure what to expect, as I was used to dining in Cerritos. I stopped to get a gift card for someone for Mother's Day. The food smelled very good. Lol... I've eaten there before and it was delicious. Unfortunately, it took a little bit to get my gift card because the kid who was helping me had never done a gift card purchase before. But he was very apologetic, and let me know more than once that he had a manager coming to help him and I. The kid was great.
Sat down at the bar, and was promptly served. Ray made the entire experience fantastic! The food was amazing, but the attention elevated the entire experience. 5 stars all around! A must try is the Beehive margaritas! Highly recommended a visit to this location.
Half off appetizers and drinks(alcoholic) during happy hour (3pm-5pm)! The service was good, as was their food! Plenty of parking and easy access. Restrooms were clean too!
