Was on a multi-day trip/celebration and Capsize was recommended. Overall it was a good experience. The location is spectacular. There is a beautiful view of the water all around from the inside. There is also an outside dining area and bar. I don't drink in general but it appeared to be a hopping place. It was also super hot out so we opted for inside. The inside wasn't crowded but it was a bit loud with just a couple of larger families dining. No fault to the restaurant or famies, mostly just acoustics. Sat at the bar earlier this afternoon briefly to grab some drinks. Overall pleased with the experience until we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable after witnessing one of the bartenders start yelling at another young employee. We felt so bad for the girl who seemed like she was just trying her best and was very surprised that the much older bartender felt alright putting such a nasty attitude on display in front of customers. The attitudes of staff are such a huge part of the experience at a restaurant (specifically how the staff works together), and seeing that definitely made me question how the restaurant is run. Such a massive disappointment! We used to love this place so much for views and food, and happily drove the two hours from Baltimore to get here. Last night we had the worst food of our lives, and now I am sick as a dog today. We will NOT be back! My son ordered calamariMOST of the plate was cut and fried jalapeño instead of actual calamari. He also had a “baseball” steak that was 60% grissel. I ordered a mandarin salad that had warm and mealy mandarin and dressing that had turned. My $32 lobster roll had almost no lobster. We’ve had a place on the Eastern Shore for 20 years and have had many great experiences here. Our last visit the service took over an hour to receive our appetizer. There was confusion when we visited the host stand to get a table. There was no outside seating and so we were inside and that was fine as we’ve done that with guests dozens of times. We did feel on our last visit we weren’t a priority inside. Sadly, we will opt for other places as it’s not fun to wait without food drinks for such a long time. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Evelyn at the host table was very professional. She was cordial, firm, and informative. Haley was an absolute treat. A great server who has solid answers to all of our questions. Took charge and made us feel accommodated. Both deserve raises. Food was fine. Drinks were incredible (painkiller and Paloma). My pregnant wife's virgin strawberry daiquiri was also a slam dunk. We had dinner here twice on a recent trip to Oxford, and thoroughly enjoyed both days. The menu is varied, food is fresh and perfectly prepared, and the servers are attentive and professional. Cocktails are great, and Tom does a super job at the bar. The view is incredible. Be sure to try the succotash made with edamame, it is amazing! We went to capsize in Oxford MD to eat lunch. Right off the bat, the view and atmosphere were insanely pleasant. Our waitress went above and beyond, and we were extremely satisfied with the service we got. I would give the food 4 out 5. The food was definitely good but it can be better. This is added to the list of my favorite places. I was searching for a decent waterfront dining and this place was RIGHT ON THE SPOT!
