This was my local pub before moving away and was great to go back and see that the service is as good as ever!! Great food and drink selection, where things weren't available, lots of options meant that we still had a great meal. A big garden means sitting outside on a warm evening is easy and due to its size, it's easy to find a quiet spot and enjoy the night. Staff are knowledgeable about the food and drinks and able to recommend the tastist dishes on the menu.
My daughter chose The Carleton to have her 40th birthday party there. We all got a lovely welcome from the staff. It was a beautiful evening so ŵe all stayed outside in the very spacious beer garden. We had a DJ and a Sax Player which all added to a good night. The food was delicious, so thank you kitchen team. It was lovely to see my daughter with all her old mates and new ones too. Thank you for making more memories for my family.
I often visit this restaurant with my dad on Tuesday nights. It is usually peaceful, but even on busier nights when big football games are on TV, the staff are still very efficient and friendly. They always greet us with a smile and make sure to refill our drinks promptly. They are patient when I need help with my Greene King card and sorting out discounts on my bill. Both staff members provide excellent customer service.
what a great place is a past since I visited the carlton who lived in the last few years. a buddy of mine asked me to meet him there to a few pints and a hit and we had a great night. the personal was top notch, with great service and personality. the foot was up and it felt like a real local alcohol. with the words of arnie I'm back!
We always enjoy our visits to The Carleton, whether it's for food and drinks or just drinks. We have never had a bad meal, and the selection of cask ales is always well maintained. The staff are always friendly, especially Lucy, who always has a lovely smile. It's a place you will want to return to.
This pub is fantastic, with a charming atmosphere and exceptional staff who are always friendly and polite. I celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday here in October, and everything was well-organized and efficient. It's always a delightful experience dining here with loved ones.
I take my business here twice a week and have never had any issues, either with staff, food or drink. They have ALWAYS seen to my needs, they are a friendly bunch of staff who like to banter with customers, that is what I like and why I continue to visit.
brilliant pub, I and my buddy thought we would try to have a top night. good beer, great service and personal are brilliant. we look forward to a few in the garden in this summer and watch the mighty leeds. my new place, they'll get for pint or two.
