This Italian pizzeria offers a delicious thin crust pizza with unique toppings. The lamb and potato combination may sound unusual, but it surprisingly works well. The Aussie pizza is perfectly salty, a pleasant surprise. The food is tasty and good value for money, with quick service even during busy times. The staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, a great option for a new local pizzeria, definitely worth recommending. And leftovers would be fantastic when reheated the next day or enjoyed after a relaxing evening.
Time and time again I am consistently happy with the Pizza at Carmelo's. Fresh ingredients and a nice thin crisp crust. The online ordering facility works well. I can enjoy discounts for ordering online and minimise my waiting time since my pizza is being cooked as I take a short walk from home to pick it up.
In today's age of pizza Mecca, sadly this place misses the spot. Large serves, yet crust is really where this pizzas greatness ends. Toppings are average and lacks taste. Too many great pizzas to try this one. Needs a facelift as well, stuck in 80's like many if the old pizzerias on Lygon.
The pizzas at this restaurant are incredibly fresh and delicious, all at an affordable price. The dough is just right, and there is a generous amount of cheese and sauce on the Margherita pizza. Ordered for delivery at 0930 pm. Arrived a few minutes late. Six pizzas ordered and they were great. Crust thin, toppings just enough. The margarita brought back memories of NJ and Philly. It was an excellent value 3 for 33.00 delivered. Thank you.
Great delivery option around Parkville/Brunswick. Pizza was well topped, nice base but a little soggy by the time it was delivered. Great little add on town greek salad to. Definitely order again when next in town
Their pizzas are truly amazing for the price. The dough is excellent and the ingredients taste wonderfully fresh and authentic. Normally at this price point, I can only expect to find shredded ham on my pizza.
