Went to this cafe on an extremely hot day , it was very hot inside, apparently the AC was on but was very ineffective, sadly the water offered to us was straight from the tap and not chilled. Given we were the only people in the place it took quite a while for lunch to be brought out That all said I had the Chickpea salad with roasted pumpkin, greens and goats cheese was amazingly delicious and on that basis I'd go back just to have the same dish but on a cooler day very ineffective very ververyineffective
Very pleasant Sunday breakfast, large servings, three hungry men and the mum. plenty to choose from on the menu including baked mushrooms on sourdough with poached egg, seasonal vegies with a very nice dukkha, house smoked tofu and plenty of others to choose from. Comprehensive list of beverage options, cafe latte, soy chai, hot chocolate etc etc. Water served without the need to ask.
Don't be fooled by the old signage - it's not a shoe repairer !! It's a trendy little hip cafe which is creating a big buzz around. The coffee was delicious. Bottles of water with fresh lemonprovided was a lovely touch. Menu was interesting but I was just there for coffee. You won't be disappointed. Service was fast and super friendly.
Not an any lists (time out/urban lists etc) but should be. Coffee and food is better than all the other Melbourne brunch staples. Had the full breakfast muffin and it is the best fusion between and English breakfast muffin and a burger.The coffee is amazing. And the vibe is lovely. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent spot in a very relaxed atmosphere with an outdoor seating. Great staff with friendly service. Food is good with some interesting dishes to choose from the menu. I will definitely recommend this place and will swing by for a meal again.
If it wasn't so tricky to get to (a particularly busy part of Nicholson St right up the top of North Carlton) I would be ordering my coffee from here every time. Check out the courtyard out the back - a real gem.
If you have any reason to stumble past this Cafe, do it. The coffee is great and their gluten free peanut butter biscuits are fab. They also have gluten free salted caramel ones too.
Had a number of breakfast items. Cooking shows skill commitment and passion which is hard to find these days. Great floor staff warm and friendly. This place is just wonderful Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This cafe is great. The coffee to die for. The menu suits any taste. Service a dream. And popular!!!
