I needed to organise a staff dinner for 15 on a Monday night! I ordered Yellow Thai Chicken Curry with loads of vegetables in it and with steamed rice included and also two yummy looking salads one was a Waldorf salad with lots of matchsticks of crunchy apple and the other a bean, tomato and avocado vinaigrette. All gluten free so everyone was happy! Snaps for me! A job well done! I spotted so many yummy looking meals at very reasonable prices that I’m now popping in regularly to buy a meal for my family when I’m too exhausted after work to face cooking and cleaning up!
I absolutely love Chargrill Charlie's in St Ives. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to deal with. They have fun social media initiatives as well. I adore their chicken and salad options, especially the family combo which is great value for money. The easy parking on both sides of Mona Vale Road makes it a favorite spot for us. It can get quite busy quickly, but it's worth it. Despite trying many chicken joints around Sydney, Chargrill Charlie's remains one of the best and a true institution in my opinion.
I visited an incredible restaurant with delicious and fresh food, offering a wide variety of options. While it may be slightly pricey, the portions are generous and not deceivingly small like many other places. The owner, Ian, is a friendly and cheerful man who works hard to keep the customers happy. The restaurant is usually bustling, especially during meal times, but the efficient staff ensures a quick-moving line. The only downside of giving this glowing review is that it might attract even more customers.
Rude staff, price gouging and miserable person behind the counter. I've been eating here for years and to be charging $18 for a bowl of salad, chips and mixed meat is way too much. When I raised the issue of price the owner was rude and dismissive of my claim, offered him the chance to resolve the issue and he wasn't interested. Told him I was going to leave a negative review and he didn't care. Won't ever eat here again. Poor form.

Enjoying the wicked case of food poisoning for my wife I after the Caesar salad yesterday... Management were kind enough to refund the purchase $10 with sincere apologies. doesn't make up however for time off work and the symptoms (details to be left out).. Usually the venue does a very good job however we will be eating elsewhere following yesterdays debacle.
Fantastic array of food and always top drawer for quality and portion sizes...my favourite is the lemongrass salad with ginger among every other salad on display ! The chicken is always perfect and service is quick and efficient. A must try for anyone who hasn't had a go...
Love the venue, take a number and wait to order. I do love the Greek salad and the wedges notchips) and have this when I visit my father. Good quick service tonight which is not always the case. Very popular and had the most customers compared to other food venues tonight.
Always smiling and welcoming. Go above and beyond to cater for my Ceoliac daughter. I find that the food is always on a high standard. Easy to park and even easier to get it delivered. Owners are lovely down to earth people. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Always love Charcoal Charlies at St Ives. Easy parking, great staff, delicious range of foods and very fair pricing considering how good the food is. I keep going back !
