The last few times we have been here the service has been awesome and they have always been happy to cater for my daughter who is anaphylactic to all nuts. I’m not sure if the chef has changed or something on the menu changed but last night it was a blundering mess trying to figure out what was safe for her to eat. My poor 8 year old daughter had to sit around watching her cousins all eat their food while she waited for her grilled chicken and “mashed potato” slop to be served. We had a last minute booking for 18 people due to the poor weather ruining our Easter catch up outdoors (includes 10 kids). The staff were amazing, so kind and attentive! We were accidentally brought one incorrect kids meal during a busy time I told the waitress it was okay my son can still have it, but the manager quickly rushed over and they both insisted on bringing us exactly what we ordered apologised for their mistake. Even under the pressure they were so kind helpful, not rude like other places can be during their busy/stressful periods. The meal at this restaurant was exceptional, however, our experience was soured by an incident while playing the slot machines. A staff member mistakenly took my husband's unfinished beer, and when he went to retrieve it, the worker apologized. However, as he walked away, a female staff member made a rude comment implying that he must be losing. This type of behavior towards customers is unacceptable and management should address it. Thankfully, Jimmy is still working there and provided excellent service.
My own meal was the Greek salad with a side of barramundi. It was a bowl of salad with a dry piece of barramundi on top, without a lemon wedge. It was difficult to eat and the barramundi was dry. Furthermore, we observed that the queue of people waiting to place orders was getting longer, and the line was moving very slowly. People were standing in line for at least 20 minutes just to order food. My kids wanted to order more, but we were not willing to wait in such a long queue.

I have had some delicious meals at this restaurant in the past, but my most recent visit a few months ago was disappointing. The medium steak I ordered was overcooked and small, making it chewy. To add to the disappointment, the president of the Club was dining at the next table and also had complaints. I have not returned to the restaurant since.
Second time at Deer park Club.. Five on the table, we ordered together, one meal was served 15 min later,two more meals.,, finally after another 20min final 2 meals served. The open souvlaki was an embarrassment 4 pieces of lamb Parmigiana with no salad. Garlic prawns with 5 tiny prawns. Never again.
They just closed the kitchen for 2 weeks due to renovations. Whats with the half meals and the price increase? Parmas are like kids meals now and now u have to pay an extra $3 for a side salad!
