The prices are reasonable, and the food is quite decent at this restaurant. I recently ordered an omelette, which I found to be very good. It was accompanied by hashbrowns (or fries) and toast. One unique feature of this place compared to other family diners is their soup bar. Although I haven't personally tried it, it's been a staple here for years, and I've only heard positive feedback about it. Overall, this restaurant is a charming spot with great prices.
Best soups around. In my forty plus years I always turned my nose up at cabbage, but their cabbage soup (vegetable soup, too is amazing. I tried to copycat their vegetable and cabbage soups myself at home and it was nowhere near as good as theirs. FYI- you can get some of their yummy soup for yourself in quarts for takeout. Thank me later : Vegetarian options: They offer a great wrap for vegetarians packed with veggies and cheese.
Old restaurant. Been around a long time. Not much that end of town anymore. One of the only restaurants that has survived. Borders Allen Park so people can go other places. Waitresses handled large groups. Take drink and food orders quickly. We had 20 in our group and we all got our food at the same time. Breakfast was good.
The food was not that great chicken noodle soup had no chicken in it the potatoe soup looked and tasted more like chicken condensed soap in a can the chicken Caesar wrap was greasy and not flavorful the mashed potatoes where homemade and Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Kid-friendliness: The kids were hungry and bouncing off the walls. Staff was very understanding even when my nephew took the tip thinking I left the money by accident lol
Parking: Parking on both sides of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: They love kids there. Wheelchair accessibility: Close all ground level.
The service was outstanding, and the prices were great! I highly recommend this place! I'll definitely return on my next visit to town!
