What an incredible experience! When my family and I arrived, the restaurant was packed, and we were told the wait for a table of six would be at least an hour. After about 45 minutes, as the crowd started to thin, I realized I hadn’t received a call. I was starting to think our night might be ruined since it was close to closing time. When I checked with the hostess, she informed me our table was ready and that she had tried calling but might have noted my number incorrectly. Aside from that small mix-up, everything was perfect.

The first time, I had the Chicken Parmigiana which came with Rigatoni. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was really good. And the portion was really big. I visited Charred Brick Oven with a group of friends, it was my first time and the food was fantastic. We started with the Caprese garlic bread and wood-fired wings, both absolutely delicious. I ordered the Game Changer sandwich, which was amazing—fried chicken breast with buffalo mozzarella, arugula, roasted red peppers, and hot honey fig jam. The homemade chips were served hot, fresh, and full of flavor—crispy, cheesy, with a spicy-sweet kick. My friends had the gnocchi bomb and homemade eggplant, and everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Everything tasted wonderful, and I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes. The MVP pizza (seems this pizza combination is on the rise in popularity in newer pizzerias lately) was very good. The stronger slices were the vodka and margherita the pesto slices while also good were a bit top heavy/wet for those slices. It looked like a flatbread pizza in a rectangle shape. To split, it doesn't keep you very full but does keep you satisfied. Also had Bocconcini Plum tomatoes for appetizer which was very good. Service was okay. Would like to come back to try their other dishes.
Long Island pizza places often don't grasp that pizza is best served well done. However, Charred, a brick oven restaurant, truly understands this! Situated at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Merrick Road in Seaford, this establishment delivers perfectly crispy, well-done pies consistently. If you visit, be sure to ask for Taso; he’ll take excellent care of you! If you're looking to avoid undercooked pizza, head to Charred and experience pizza the authentic New York way—live life well done!
The food was decent, though I had hoped for homemade pasta dishes, which they didn’t offer. The service was good with no complaints. I ordered the gnocchi bomb, which was a generous portion and well-priced, but I’m not sure I’d order it again. I might consider coming back in the future.

Wow did I really want to love this place. Fell a little short to me. Bar area is nice and table was nice but pizza was okay. Just okay, I have had better and had worse.
