This eatery has been a consistent go to for years, when I 'm craving certain dishes. You have to experience it, to appreciate the quality. The menu hasn 't changed much, over the years, but this is what makes this place work! The saying goes, If it ain 't broke, don 't fix it. The portions are generous and most of the menu items are staples for many people who have eaten here over the years; which keeps people, like me, coming back. A small hole in the wall. The Peppadew Pasta ordered the daily special. It was a red pepper chicken cheese alfredo Pasta. Very filling and delicious. It came with a side salad I chose, the Caesar salad was beautiful and fresh. The others ordered the Rachel with sweet potato friries and a soft drink. Chicken cheese Melt with sweet potatoes and a soft drink. Total $45. Sat outside and the food was brought to us. Good customer service. Because of the beautiful day we sat for half an hour.
When it comes to reubens, I have refined flavors (read: I am picky). Many places have terrible dressing, the wrong cheese or jump on the beef. By the way, if it's not beef, it's a Rachel. Chesapeake knew the difference, so I knew they promised. That sandwich was great! There was no part of it that disappointed me! Even the fresh rye bread with caraway seeds tasted like New York. I will definitely be back!
I loved this spot. It does have outside seating but only 4 separate tables and they're usually always taken. The bar is long and spacious. Lots of parking. Good location. The server was helpful and fast. Menu was full of choices. The desert menu only had 5 options which is typical for most restaurants. I have a good experience here and would love to come again.

I got the pulled pork sandwich that came with bay fries, which costs some change over $12. I have one “complaint”, was that the sandwich was really big. I had to save some of the sand which for the next day. (Lol) The pork was tender, juicy, and saucy and the fries were good. The employees were also pretty friendly. I will definitely come here again.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great dessert. We’ve been looking for a place to get brunch along route 50 to the Beaches ever since Jimmy’s Grille in Bridgeville, DE closed. This is the best place we have found so far.
Umami is not an invented word! It is one of the five stacks decorated together with sweet, sour, bitter and salty. Although it is hard to put in words, you will understand when you take a bite from your sandwich.

This review focuses solely on the cream of crab soup, as it's one of the few places in the area that offers the perfect consistency and actual lump crab meat.
One of the best restorations in the Crofton/bowie area. Consistent good food and fast, friendly service. I love rockfish and chips. Very recommended!
