I have been a very frequent customer of chew kitchen in the past, having left a 5 star review 6 years ago and having visited many times in between. There is no denying this place does the best roast dinner in the valley, something that has brought us back time and time again. Although this frequency has reduced due to the costs of the roast dinners increasing over the years, we still enjoy coming here for a treat. We really do enjoy dining here at this pleasant and busy restaurant. The food is always excellent and the service is both friendly and efficient. We both look forward to dining on really good fresh fish offered as ‘specials’ on the menu. Today we were celebrating my Partner’s birthday, and had invited some close friends to join us for their first visit here. What a treasure of a place! Superb food and great service. Good vegetarian options- the pan fried gnocchi was delightful. The meat eaters had the lamb which was very generous in size and cooked to perfection. For desserts, Panacotta and baked cheesecake- the best we’ve had. When we first turned up we didn’t know what to expect as the location wasn’t obvious, but aren’t the best gems a little tucked away! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
I have been visiting Chew Kitchen for years and have always loved their roasts, however the last roast I had was probably the best one yet! I had the duo of beef and pork with the stilton gravy and my husband had the duo with the red wine gravy and neither of us could fault it. Chew Kitchen definitely produce the best roast in the valley!

What a fabulous place for Sunday lunch! This was a birthday celebration, and the restaurant not only served the most beautifully cooked, generous portions of roast, but they were attentive, friendly and very efficient. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Have been coming here for a few years and love it. The food is always good and the staff are very professional, polite and accommodating. Visited today and had a great sandwich and coffee. The Sunday Roasts are always fab!
A newish venue , but welcoming staff. Very good tasty food provided by Morley. Swift service, sensible pricing Chew Kitchen deserves to do well. Parking a bit restricted at lunchtime.

If you love mussels then this is certainly a place for you!!..lovely little bistro in the middle of chewstoke, and a sun trap in the small garden. Highly recommend a visit
Amazing breakfast including bubble n squeak. Excellent latte. Sat in garden at the back, lovely.
