Just went to chicken express of course waited in drive through for 15 minutes to try to order. The not very smart kid who was taking orders asked me what i wanted. I told him I wanted the 3 piece chicken all white meat. He proceeded to tell me while laughing he didn't exactly know what that meant! REALLY!!!! YOU WORK AT A CHICKEN PLACE! Never again! I told him to forget it and to let me speak to the manager who never came to talk to me! Fast food places are getting worse by the day. In order to post this I had to click on a star which I have not given them any! I would agree to give them 5 stars on how bad their service is!!!!!
I ordered a 4 piece snack-pack with fried okra and sweet tea from the drive-thru. The food was consistently tasty and at the right temperature, but I noticed the gravy bowls were smaller than before. This franchise is known for their great fried okra. Usually, the sweet tea is too sweet for me so I order half sweet and half unsweetened. They offer both sweet and unsweetened tea in gallon jugs. Overall, the food is good for fast food. The drive-thru attendant was polite and the service was reasonably fast.
During my visit to this restaurant, I ordered a dish that was supposed to come with potatoes. However, when I went to pay at the window, I was surprised to find that my bill totaled over sixty dollars. They asked me to move forward and wait for my order, but when it was ready, they informed me that they were out of crushed potatoes. I requested a refund, but was told that the manager was not available to authorize it at that moment. I had to wait for some time before finally receiving my refund.
When placing the order it comes with mashed potatoes when I got to window to pay I spent over sixty dollars they told me to pull to the front and they will bring it when it's ready young men came out to say we have no mashed potatoes so I ask them to giveme my money back and cancel it then the said we can't give you the money the manager was not at the store at this time to giveme my refund I was there 45 minutes waiting that's sad I will not be going back

The quality of the chicken tenders has declined significantly. I ordered a tender meal, but it came without any gravy. The mashed potatoes were dry and pasty, and the jalapeño poppers were cold in the center. The entire meal was terrible. This location used to be great, but my last few visits have been very disappointing. Although it's convenient since it’s right across the street from my house, I won’t be returning. 0/10, do not recommend.
The quality of chicken breeders has drastically decreased. I ordered a delicate meal, no engraving. The potatoes are as dry as paste and the Jalapeño-Poppers were cold in the middle. The whole meal was garbage. This place used to be so good and the last few times I left was so disappointing. This location is convenient because it is over the street from my house, but I will not go back here. 0/10, not recommended.
So I go to chickens every day the same thing 2 medium-sized cups Ice 54 cents it always the same price, no matter where. but this chicken expression isn't now why is a cup of ice a dollar at this place? and the customer service suck my ice lovers can we understand? re me?m coming from this location is 5 minutes away from my house and I rather drive 20 away, just to another place it is sad..
The last 2 times I have been at this restaurant once in the drive thru and today ordered in person they have screwed up my order.I?m from Fort Worth but live in Houston now and when I come up I like to stop and eat.There are no Chicken Express in Houston and I really like the food but after today I am so done with Chicken Express!! 7/12/2022

I will never visit this restaurant again. The intense hatred I saw in the eyes of the worker behind the window was frightening. He barely said anything apart from stating the prices. Absolutely not, I will not be returning here.
Not tasty at all, very oily. Popeyes has better fry chicken. Even sauce has an extra charge in here.
