Chili's Grill Patio Open For Dine In

Wow! The food was great. I ordered this plate with slices of beefs, corn tortillas, fried rice, shrimps. My companion ordered baby ribs. The meats were very tendered juicy. I was so full after eating a couple of wrapped tortillas 2 baby ribs. I endedup taking up leftover home. Chilli has interesting ways of servicing the food. A host at the front seated us. Another waitertook our orders. He brought us drinks. For the main dishes we order brought to us by another waiter.whoever was serving at mytable I asked things we need or wants. We stood just inside the entrance for a few minutes before a server greeted us, saying he'd be with us shortly. However, he disappeared for about five more minutes before coming back to wipe down a table and seat us with menus. Shortly after, another staff member came to take our drink order; we asked for water. She brought our water and checked if we were ready to order, but we requested a few more minutes. After deciding what we wanted, we closed our menus and waited—then waited some more. We tried to get the attention of another server, but the music was so loud she didn’t hear us. We just left feeling very disappointed. Our group of six arrived along with another group of five and a party of two. We were told the wait time was five minutes. The hostess then seated the group of five, followed by the party of two. At that point, we were informed that they couldn’t seat us yet and that our wait would be extended by an additional 20-25 minutes. The manager later explained over the phone that the hostess is new and still learning. Clearly, better training and improved customer service skills are needed.

I waited approximately ten minutes once seated to see a server. Once the server took my order. Everything was great, the server was attentive to an and all my needs. I give them four stars, not five because I had to wait to be served. In the defense of theserver, I do not know if the hostess informed my server that I had been seated in her section. I love Chili's. The bar area is pleasantly quiet. The food is tasty, and the service is friendly and quick. It’s no longer freezing inside, making it a comfortable place to dine. The bar offers good drinks. I really enjoyed my lunch.
