Things took a turn for the worse when it came time to settle the bill. Suddenly, Cindy’s demeanor shifted completely. She began asking how the food was and thanked me as if she was expecting a tip. It felt strange when she leaned over my shoulder while I filled out the receipt. However, her attitude changed again as soon as she noticed that I hadn’t left a tip. In a rather unprofessional manner, she said, “I take it back,” implying that her earlier gratitude was conditional. She snatched the receipt from my hand and stormed off. This final interaction highlighted her lack of professionalism and courtesy, which had affected my dining experience throughout.

It’s crazy to me reading these negative reviews. This restaurant is my favorite and has been for years. They’ve been here for a long long time. If their food was so bad, they wouldn’t be swamped every time you pass the restaurant. Which they are.If you’re wanting some kind of 5 star buffet for the same price, idk what to tell you. The food is good. It’s always hot. And it’s exactly what you would expect from a small Chinese buffet sharing a lot with Walmart.Y’all are honestly ridiculous. Humble yourselves and enjoy the food that has been a part of our community for years.
Always delicious food here at China Buffet in Pearl MS.The outrageous inflation on a Thursday evening for 20 a head. But it has been a minute since I've eaten here and always enjoy the food and don't really eat out much anymore, sooo ya know. The buffet as always has items that can be enjoyed by all that like Chinese food in America.. and they had a sushi bar this evening. Can't really say much when they're just trying to keep up with the Rat Race too They gotta eat too.
Food was very good. Still fresh even though it was less than an hour till closing. I ordered off the menu but my husband had the buffet. A bit of a language barrier while ordering but we figured it out in the end. Staff was friendly.Dietary restrictions: After hiatal hernia surgery I can't eat off a buffet without pain. The ability to order from a menu was definitely appreciated.

I ordered a takeaway dish, the first time we've eaten at this Chinese restaurant. Everything was excellently seasoned and flavored. I'm going to try to get there again and order to eat on the spot. I don't live in that city. I recommend itFood: 4/5
I visit this place frequently because the food is excellent, and they always make sure your glass is full. However, I do wish they would release the goldfish; they are too big for the tank. Rating: 5/5 for the food.

It is a Chinese buffet..I expect all Chinese buffets get their food from Sysco or Merchants or some food service company then they heat it.
