Four of us enjoyed a fabulous meal at Christakis. We started with a selection of starters, which we all shared, and were gifted with an additional starter from the restaurant. All of them were absolutely delicious! We then had our main courses which again were delicious...OMG the portions were HUGE!!! Not only did we get our main item (e.g. lamb/chicken/moussaka) but each was served with rice AND chips! Very generous but, hate to say it, quite daunting for me to have so much on the plate at one time!!! My son did finish his plateful and took the remaining half of mine home with him to eat the following day! Service was first class! The manager was really friendly and made us feel incredibly...
We chose what we wanted from the menu outside but when we went in he presented us with set menus which were 3 course and more expensive than what we had in mind. When we said we didn’t want the set menu, he said that was all they were offering-so we stood up to leave and he suddenly changed his mind and said we could choose from the regular menu after all. Felt a bit like he was trying it on with us tbh. When the food we ordered arrived , we really enjoyed it, large portions too. Took a long time getting us our bill and we had to ask a couple of different waiters for it. The food was quite good, earning a solid four-star rating for its quality and flavor. The service was also commendable, providing attentive and friendly assistance throughout our meal, which I rated the same. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the atmosphere, which was exceptional and received a full five stars. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.
Omg, this was truly unbelievably great! I've eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants around the world, including Greece, but this was by far the standout for all the right reasons. We had the meat platter for two and everything went beyond flawless to genuinely elevated. Amazing food, great service and great value. When our food eventually arrived, we really enjoyed it and appreciated the generous portion sizes. However, it took quite a while to get our bill, and we had to ask multiple waiters for it. As for vegetarian options, there were plenty of choices available.
