Excellent dinner tonight! Food was delicious! I partook in their $60 pre fixe menu. Great value! Excellent quality! I started with a phenomenal, classical lobster bisque. They do it right! Then I had the bacon wrapped 6oz. filet Mignon with fingerling potatoes and vegetables. The filet was perfectly prepared medium rare. The potatoes were tasty. For dessert, I had the most decadent chocolate lava cake. They evidently use a high grade chocolate in the recipe, for quality was readily apparent in the taste. Oh my goodness was it delicious! Service was professional, attentive, and friendly. The best restaurant customer service I have encountered on this current week’s trip. No other restaurants...
Stayed in Lake Tahoe for 6 days and went to 6 amazing, high quality restaurants. Ciera is by far the best out of all of them. The ambience is great, with amazingly beautiful decor, private eating booths, and the food…. Omg…. Everything was delicious! We had the Australian lobster with a filet mignon, lava cake and some chocolate covered strawberries. The service was outstanding! Everything you’d expect from a 5 star restaurant and fine dining. If you go to South Lake Tahoe and you don’t eat here, you’ve missed the best Lake Tahoe dining experience they have to offer.
Last night, we had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. The lobster escargot-style appetizer, salad, and broccolini were all delicious, but the steaks were absolutely perfect. John, our waiter, was friendly yet professional. We're already excited for our next special occasion so we can come back and dine here again.
We have been coming for over 30 years and NEVER one time that it wasn't 5 STAR food and service!!! We visit Tahoe 4-5 times each year. Ceasar-Mt Bleu -Ballys no matter the casino, still the same excellent food and service. We will be coming back!!!!

This is the best steakhouse in Lake Tahoe. The service is outstanding. The staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend it. It's located in Ballys Resort and casino.
John, our server, and Gerald, the maitre d', were both excellent and the food was delicious. The service was great and this is definitely our favorite place to eat in Tahoe.
Great food and service. Ask for waiter John. Wine list is a bit overpriced but a few gems. Prix fixe is a good deal.
