We accidently went to the wrong Italian restaurant. We thought we had reservations here, despite not having them, we were seated quickly. Its a cozy Italian restaurant with some great Italian food. Our waiter was very attentive and gave great customer service. The menu isn't that big but the portions are. That being said, there are plenty of classics so my 2 children 7&14) had no issue finding something they would enjoy. I would say get there earlier than your reservation as parking is very limited. If it's peak season or a weekend I would highly recommend setting a reservation. Most of the parking in the back is for the hotel next door with towing signs.
Quaint Italian restaurant with a nice selection of pastas and entrees. I had the shrimp capellini and would have given them five stars except the shrimp was a bit overdone. The dish was well flavored and refreshing. The service was excellent and although we didn't partake this time they did have a nice selection of wine and other drinks. If you are looking for a more authentic Italian dinner, this would definitely be worth a visit.
Our second time to South Lake Tahoe and must say that Izabella has exceeded our expectations. Walk to the Marriott with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent. All from appetizer to pasta were delicious and well prepared. Nice wine selection. I recommend the Frank family Zinfandel for sure, as she was sure smooth.
I don’t normally rate restaurants but I feel the need to just praise this place on what an incredible experience they provide. It was my birthday dinner and from the food to the service it was just outstanding. We will definitely be back every time we’re in Tahoe.

Greg our waiter was professional and proficient. Food was better than good but not out of this world. Food arrived quickly which was fine with us but if you want some time probably best to tell your waiter. We will be back, I highly recommend.
Great Italian food. So the dishes we ordered were good, including the warm bread and the Calamari. Only exception was the spaghetti with meatballs that tasted the gland unlike the other dishes.
We returned to Heavenly during our trip for a second time, as our first experience was so enjoyable!
The service was excellent and the linguine with clam sauce was the best I've ever tasted!

We had a large group of 15 and all went smooth and the food was delicious!
Food was fabulous, we will definitely go back while we are in town!
