We expected a lot about the outside seat by seeing in pictures. But it is totally opposite and very simple outside and not as great as on photos. In the restaurant the ambience is good. Food tastes good, but very expensive for the amount of food we get. For the price we paid, we received very little amount. There was no coordination between the waiters. We felt really uncomfortable when the waiters come for one and ask for the same questions and ask for our order. We have already placed it with one person, then comes another person and ask for order. It has repeated all the time when we were there and we were really frustrated. The best restaurant I've been to in Virginia and possibly also in DC. I've ordered the tasting menu both times and it was the most worthwhile use of my taste buds and stomach space alike. Nothing but good food and thoughtful elements. Service attentive without being overpowering. Wine pairings to the tasting menu are the best matches I've experienced anywhere.
Anytime I have an occasion worth celebrating, I always choose Clarity. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is excellent. Came for my mother’s birthday and she was blown away by how good everything was. If you are anywhere in the DMV, please check out this gem of a restaurant.
Everyone loved their food, but my dish of shrimp Risotto and Skallops was not good. The shrimps and scallops go over boiled and hard to chew. The taste was good, but not the consistency. I had the blueberries and brioche pudding. It was just okay. I had much better there.

Food was outstanding, portions on the smaller side, but very good. The menu changes often and should be posted online instead of going through Google Drive. They recently dropped the GF bread which was a bummer... Ambiance was good as well and the service was outstanding.
Well done . should have heated plates for hot food so food doesn’t get cold. Everything seems to be much improved from months ago. Now have rolls with different flavors . Good variety of foods. Very pleased with Clarity . Will continue to go often.
Our appetizers, where fantastic; Tuna tea, charcutterie, beet salad. dinner; Halibut, Scallop w/risotto were nothing special. Our waitress was very funny and attentive!
A little loud when your seats are near the long table for groups. Would you like to recommend the pan roasted duck. Deliciousness
