The heat wave comes with the re-opening of seasons shops, like Coney 's and Swirls, with ice cream, among other things. Was excited to see my favorite coney place outside Detroit, was open already for the season. I got 2 coneys with mustard n onion. That was it. Expected a somewhat inexpensive meal right? No it was $8.85 for 2 hotdogs! No drink, fries, nothing else! I checked the menu and yes, $3.99 ea. The online menu said $2.70 ea so im assuming that was last years menu. Worse yet was the cheap tasteless, rubbery, tough hotdogs they now use. They used to use Koegel hotdogs which is all i ever buy so i know they are now using cheaper brands! We love coming here for the fries and sliders! As a business own, one thing that concerns me it the reflected processing fees that are charged to customers!When I opened my LLC they stated I should not charge my customer fees as they are tax deductible and they state a small charge but over 2$ charge for a 20$ meal is not small its 10% and most cc processing companies charge way less then that anywhere from 2-4%, my point if you don't want extra cc charges take cash!
The girl that took our order was so polite and nice. She even made me laugh. Our food was AHHHHMAZING!!!!!! My son got the cookie monster ice cream and I got the chili cheese fries. Um...I will never go anywhere else for chili cheese fries again. Neither will my son. He ate over half. Then his friend tried them and he bought some. I dont know what we will do in the winter months. Lol Thank you!!

I grew up in Hillsdale, so it's nice seeing a part of my childhood survived into my adulthood. My boyfriend and I took my younger brothers here while we were visiting on our vacation, and even after us going to the window about 8 times for various things (mostly melting and dropped ice creams) they were amazing and just as entertained by the chaos of the boys as we were.
It was the great way to end our busy day for my best friends Birthday. There was a baseball team there. When they found out it was my friends 50th. This kind man started to sing happy Birthday so everyone joined in. It was the best. Great place!
I don't know it must have changed hands or something because it was terrible the onion rings were terrible they were hard old and I couldn't even bite into them . The burger was about the same no good what a waste
Just a few minutes walk from work and home. The kids love to come here for a treat! Grateful to have an ice rink in our city centre!
