We went in for a quick drink only to be told abruptly that the cafe was closing in 15 minutes. It was very unwelcoming and I felt that the server could have handled the notification of the cafe closing much better. Whilst waiting I went across the road to a shop that sold food, which i intended to eat later but we tried one small thing in store only again to be told abruptly that the cafe was closing by the server with a quip about the tiny amount of food we tried to only be from Costa. She made us finish our drinks quickly by her action of putting the tray down with other people's drinks on (not great with COVID situation). The server needs to learn better manners in my opinion.
Came into Costa Coffee with my husband and two boys on the Saturday. Was very busy as expected there was no available tables so we sat outside but asked to be notified when an inside table become available. Hana notified us as soon as one became available and we was very happy with both Hana and Maria’s customer service. Both working hard with maintaining and cleaning tables, checking that everyone was maintaining a safe distance and not too overcrowded whilst running around serving food and customers. Thank you Ladies.
We popped in to buy 4 coffees, accidentally entered by the incorrect entrance and were barked at, even though there was plenty of space. The lady on the till was officious, impatient and rather rude. I wanted to use the bathroom however, one was 'out of order ' and the other was locked up! Maybe they feel they can get away with a poor service as there are a lot of day trippers who probably won 't return. The coffee itself was okay, standard Costa.
I visit this restaurant every week, and both my son and I have allergies and intolerances. The servers are incredibly helpful, even remembering our specific needs each time. The price for a cup of coffee foam may be a bit high, but this is normal for Costa. I sat on a bench outside in a green area and enjoyed watching the world pass by. It's a great spot to relax for a bit.
Great location and friendly warm welcome when we arrived. Plenty of available seats inside, parking was tricky but there is a free car park a short walk away.
Fab location... Great staff... Great drinks, as always. The shop was clean with plenty of seats... I just wish the shop wasn't so cold!!

Not satisfied with small medium and large size coffee they now sell a mini size..and at £3.05! what a rip-off.
