Cote How Country Guest House

Just had the most amazing weekend at Cote How for my daughter and son in law's wedding. As we travelled up we had the devastating update from Boris! Heartbreaking. But on arrival Caroline and Steve had pulled out all the stops to accommodate the new restrictions. Cote How was love at first sight for the couple but it was Caroline and Steve's passion and love for happy weddings that sold it immediately on meeting them. The surroundings are utterly gorgeous, house and barn beautiful, Caroline and Steve fantastic company and such knowledge of local wildlife. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. sheer perfection! velvet how is an idyllic environment for those seeking a small, private and beautifully organized high time in the lake district. we can not thank caroline, sophie and the whole team of cote as enough for an amazing day. as a bit of a high-time phobes couple not even we knew what we really wanted, but every last detail was perfect and the day ran so smooth. every need has been met and our guests were full of compliments for the venue and its location. Not only the house and the beauty perfectly decorated, rydal water is just a stone's throw away and the perfect location for photos. we cannot praise high enough and cannot imagine getting married somewhere else.

I love Cote How weddings! Caroline and Steve are so welcoming and easy to work with nothing's too much trouble. The setting is stunning with Rydal Water close by and the house, barn and gardens are all fabulously maintained. The perfect place for an informal, relaxed Lake District wedding!
