For the price you pay, you'd at least expect decent service (or even some sort of service)If I could make a suggestion, it would be to create more vegetarian/ vegan options on the menu (even eggplant chips have blue cheese and honey- and to charge $9.90 for chips is quite steep given the amount that is served..)For the price you pay, it would be nice to have water served to you, or if that's too much of an ask, at least have:a) bigger glasses (to prevent frequent refills)b) have bottles so even if it is self serve, customers won't need to continually get up to fill more waterUsually Creme menu and service is average, however today we waited an hour for our mains, other customers that arrived...
I have previously been a regular at this cafe and had really delicious food, but after a couple of disappointing occasions I have been a less frequent visitor. Perhaps it depends on which cooks are working on the day? Anyway they should tighten up standards as they do have a good menu, good size cafe and convenient location. One thing that won't let you down though are the baked items and desserts. Yum! One thing I would recommend to Creme though is not too be so tight about splitting bills. It can't be that hard and I'm sure lots of customers would appreciate it.
Came down for breakfast and was surprised at the quality of our food. I had the modern Paleo and it was exceptional. My wife had the Smashed Avo and that was also exceptional. we then decided to share the protein pancakes as they were low carb and over 30 grams of protein which have been the best we have tried in Melbourne. Great Service and quality food is what we received. We will be back next week.
Visited with my sister and my kids. After playing in the park we decided to snack here. Had eggplant chips and a cuppa. The eggplant chips are ok but prefered the old version as they were super chunky previously. But atmosphere ok esp couches near fireplace. Great place to go for a coffee with your four-legged friend! I normally get here quite early, so plenty of outdoor seating. It is a casual atmosphere, which I quite enjoy, and people walking by often stop to chat with the dogs!
I have had coffee here and dessert I have enjoyed it the staff are good the coffee and dessert is lovely nice location and the size of the café is big I highly recommend this café.
