My husband and I decided to stop for lunch and grab a beer. We opted to sit at the bar, but unfortunately, the bartender was neither friendly nor attentive. I ordered a "Lucy" burger without the bun, and when I cut into it, I found it to be very undercooked in the middle. I let the bartender know that I couldn't eat it like that, and he threw it away and brought me another one, which wasn't much better. To start, we ordered two appetizers: walleye strips and Cajun onion rings. The walleye was moist and lightly breaded, while the onion rings provided a nice twist on a dish we've had countless times before. For our main course, we shared the featured patty melt, also known as the Smokehouse Stacker. We really enjoyed it, and one portion was more than enough for two reasonably hungry adults.
One downside was the limited beer options; we would have appreciated a more diverse selection, especially some cerveza options. As for parking, you can easily drop your party off at the door, which is convenient and protects you from the elements.
Although the reviews we came across weren't the most positive, the location was convenient for us. We were pleasantly surprised by our meals; the taco salad was especially delicious. Our server was very friendly as well. The wait time for the salads was a bit longer than expected, and the young man who seated us seemed a bit disorganized, but I assume he was still in training. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual, with music and sports at a reasonable volume. I would definitely return.
We held our wedding sample dinner at the Maplewood Event Center, and it was wonderful! Sarah was extremely easy to communicate with, and the taco bar was delicious. They were also very accommodating, allowing us to arrive early for setup. Everyone had a fantastic time and appreciated the option to stay later and enjoy the bar area. Our venue was located in downtown St. Paul, which made it convenient for our guests—only about 10 minutes away. I highly recommend this place!

We visited this restaurant on Saturday the 27th to celebrate our wedding with our family, and we had a wonderful time. Although I didn’t catch our server’s name, he truly went above and beyond to ensure that my husband, our family, and I were well taken care of. All of our meals were delicious, although I’d advise against ordering shrimp tacos if you’re wearing a white dress! A big thank you to the Crooked Pint team for making our dinner so memorable!
There are a few areas that could use improvement; our server didn't check on us as frequently as we would have liked, so we ended up waiting for drinks for a while. However, the staff remained friendly and pleasant throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and we really loved the idea of having a shuttle bus for the games!
The restaurant has a large space, so it never feels crowded. My wife ordered the steakhouse Lucy and was absolutely thrilled—she couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I tried the Asian pork tacos, and they were fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.
The food was good, but the service was terrible. I waited at the front for five minutes, wondering if they were closed, only to hear someone shout from the back about where to pick up online orders. If this is just how they run things, then ignore my comment.

COWBOY BURGER IS AMAZING! The nachos are pretty good, and the fish tacos are not bad either. The service is good, but really, the cowboy burger is the highlight.
