Dai Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever visited, especially considering it’s located in a town like Pleasantville. I wholeheartedly recommend it! The flavor of the rice, the freshness of the fish, and the variety of dishes offered are all outstanding. Be sure to call ahead for a reservation if you can, or arrive at a reasonable hour and be prepared for a bit of a wait, whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout. Enjoy your meal!
The name "Dai Sushi" brought to mind the famous Sushi Dai at Tsukiji. While it's not the same, it’s definitely worth a visit and sure to satisfy your palate. The dining area is pleasant, and the fish was fresh and skillfully prepared. My lunch portion was quite generous as well. I noticed it draws a lot of local patrons, which is a good sign. There also appear to be additional seating on the second floor. I would certainly return to explore more of the menu.
Excellent food and service. We were seated upstairs where it was mostly quiet and private. Staff attended us right away and took our orders. Drinks and food came out in a timely fashion and everything tasted great. Everyone was friendly, polite, and just had a positive atmosphere to it all. We parked across the street at the supermarket and had no issues. A positive experience overall and I will be returning here.
The food was delicious. What sold me was the spicy tuna salmon rolls had actual fish pieces with chopped jalapeno not mago cover much like most places. The mushroom was delicious, the tea was delicious. Definitely back. The waitress was kindly provided great service. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My new favorite sushi place in Westchester. The Chicken Katsu is my all time favorite dish. It’s a small but VERY popular spot, so come prepared to wait to get a seat. But once you do you won’t regret it. Obsessed and 100% recommend.
The staff is incredibly fast, friendly, and welcoming; the ambiance is delightful; and the sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. Dai has quickly become our favorite sushi spot in the area.
Been coming to Dai Sushi for years and it never disappoints. Even our Japanese friends raved about it! If you're in Westchester and looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, this is the spot!

I ordered takeout, and the food was ready a few minutes ahead of schedule. It was absolutely delicious!
