what a wonderful place and certainly somewhere I will be repeated again. from any reason I would imagine that there are more activities, especially for children, but instead they are on their own devices with walks and cycleways left through the forest and canal area. not that this is all to complain about, although it is all well signed, the tracks are in great condition and there is much space for everyone. the main camp itself is a fantastic retreat, with sitting on the razor as well as veranda overlooking the canal. there is a large menu of food and drinks that can be ordered from an app and from which ample personal runs. the waiting workers are certainly on the inexperienced side, but...
It is a very nice venue very good for families meeting up in a well kept location. I digress when we were ordering we saw the father's Day menu which doesn't state it is only served on SUNDAYS this wasn't stated in the T&C on any social media post or on the website, the father's Day menu looked very good this is one of the reasons for our visit. We still ordered fresh homemade food piping hot all fresh. When we were served we didn't have any napkins to wipe our hands or face with this was a let down The toilet facilities were not clean and very dusty
I was so disappointed with this place. The price of the food and drinks were ridiculous with large signs everywhere saying 'no picnics ' not very family friendly!! The location is lovely and the food was basic but good. Unfortunately a small glass of warm apple juice poured straight out of carton, that cost £2 !! left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would visit here again for a walk but as for eating and drinking there, forget it. I really dislike places that are clearly out to rip people off.
I loved it! good area to go to go in the eye keep that cyclists also use the same track as the pedestrians, but it is well sign with priority specified to migrate. many abysses live here and there are many benches scattered around the trail, they should decide to take a rest. I loved the views and there is also the additional use of a coffee house
We walked from priory marina in Bedford along the lively bridleway and stopped for something to eat. The setting is beautiful, service is spot on however a tad over priced for what you get. Now don't get me wrong the food was lovely but 2 cokes 2 sausage sandwiches which came with chips shouldn't really cost £20-26.
Had a quick stop at this hidden gem (literally hidden and accessible through a driveway between some houses) and enjoyed it. Give you a feeling of being away on holiday. Food was lovely. The view out the window spectacular. Weather not so much .

Lovely place.. so relaxing and beautiful. Right next to the water. Really cute animals all around. Grab a quick bite to eat from friendly staff and enjoy a lush ice cream after. Highly recommended
