My fiancé and I travelled from CT to MA for a work trip this weekend. After immediately walking out of a property in a neighboring town because the room was appalling, we called the Deerfield Inn in desperation on Friday night and were immediately offered a walk-in rate for a room that had just cancelled. We had never heard of it before, despite living in New England all our lives. Property is located right on old Main Street in the historic section and is full of colonial New England charm. The Deerfield Inn housed my husband's wedding and it was the most magical night I'd ever asked. Barbara, the event planner, went wildly beyond and beyond to make sure everything fell in place. Your team was at the top of everything, from support with music (as we do not have a DJ), keep the food coming, and make sure that the place remained in shipping form. I got tons of compliments about the food delicious and the venue is stunning. We were in Cora's room. Although we didn't have paranormal activity, we felt that she had us perfectly in a clean, cozy room. We will definitely stay here again on our 1 year anniversary, and come for dinner at Champneys often between now and then
Our room in the carriage house was stunning—spacious, immaculate, and comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed and lovely linens. For dinner, we savored the table and chips, which is my favorite! The food was delicious and more than enough for us to enjoy.
We have no complaints about this delightful inn and are looking forward to visiting again soon to explore the sights!
My 12th stay here in 3 years/lovely inn- highlight is champneys restaurant- rooms are a bit dated- some have very small Bathrooms and TVs need to all be replaced- town is pretty but housed never open when we want to visit. Staff is erratic- some great and helpful and some disorganized and unfriendly-dinners on the porch are lovely- as is very economic breakfast

Sept 2022 my wife and I sincerely enjoyed our trip to Deerfield and stay at Deerfield Inn. Our King Room at Carriage House was clean and comfortable, our dinner was fabulous, and we enjoyed two breakfasts before departure. The staff at the reception was great, the restaurant was just as great and we are happy to stay back in case '23.
One of my favorite places for your stay in MA is Deerfield Inn! We have a student who takes part in the Deerfield Academy. We love the cozy feeling of the rooms and the amazing staff. The hotel's restaurant, Champney's is excellent and the manager/host always checks with all patrons during your meal.
We photographed our first wedding at Deerfield Inn last October and it was beautiful! So many beautiful spots for photos and the top sheet for this couple's wedding on 15. October was AMAZING. The staff here was super nice and very helpful. Don't wait to be back!

I liked it here. It was very cozy and the rooms were fine. I loved how the shower worked too. I give it 4 stars -1 because food was not too good and it kinda smelt like mold) but that?s just me. Go here definitely but maybe beware of the mold because i smelt it.
