I went to this Delhi Wala restaurant yesterday with my family Monday 9th Nov 2015. The service was absolutely appalling, followed by the food. We ordered 3 paneer dosas, when they came out it had grated raw paneer,, with no masala flavour, I thought it was supposed to be an indian dish, obviously not!!! they argued with us. Then they said we will order you the masala dosa, when that came out, it was plain with nothing in it. They said the chef got it wrong. Hoping that third time lucky, the dosas tasting half decent, the mixture was raw inside, rushed job maybe. I took a few bites and left the rest. DO NOT EAT HERE! Awful, slo.... DO NOT EAT HERE! Awful, slow service. Ok starters, but the main dishes are small portions. Can pay same elsewhere for better portions/quality. The milk is un-refrigerated. Ordered a glass of milk for my 2.5yr old, it was warm with ice cubes!?! Go figure... Mango Milkshakes were disgustingly warm on an already hot day. Clear plastic covers upon cloth cloth covers are dirty and stained. There was old squashed dry rice on my table!!! Hmmm... Extremely unhygienic. The mushroom chowmein tasted of vinegar. Daal was microwaved twice (manager told us he personally did that The dosa had hardly any filling (manager told us he personally made that too
delhi wala is located at the king street in southall. pretty close to the gurudwara delhi wala gives them a typical feeling of delhi in london . they have a great selection of Indian sweets, snacks, chaats and of course main course service needs a great time improvement. menu cards are really dirty. well replace with new, its high time we ordered vegetable corma veg corma was absolutely normal and loaded with unnecessary amount of cream. I could only find cauliflower. butter roti rotis were perfectly boiled and shaken with a decent amount of butter. it could have been better if it was hot thanks! prost!
Went for the dinner last along with family friends to celebrate my son's birthday. We found food OK but the services were pathetic staff including the owner were very rude. After the dinner, just before cutting the cake, we were informed that they charge £5 to cut the cake. When asked what the charges are for, was told it is for providing plate, forks knives- found very very strange Their toilets did not have any soaps to clean the hands; God knows how their service staff wash their hands??? Overall the experience was very poor and I will not recommend this restaurant even to my enemy Sorry!

Worst restaurant ... Very bad service food will make u think twice if it's a restaurant or a jail .. Went in on my hubby's birthday as we love punjabi food being punjabis ... It ruined our day taste buds . hubby s been having bad tummy since ... Ordered cholle batura which was sooo tasteless worst I ve ever had .. All the food was not eatable at all ... Advising everyone not to go there to ruin their day .
today landed and chana bhature and pao bhaji ordered. not only the service is under par and the place seemed somehow hygienic, I and woman ended with a bad fall of stomach pain and vomiting! I wish I could evaluate this place negatiw. do not even think about going to the place, but much they may miss delhi’s street eating! even the lazy of delhi’s street food providers serve better!
Been here countless times to eat best prantha's in London. Other then that, they have bunch of Indian spicey food which is worth trying .The thing which I think needs to upgrade is fittings and furniture. I personally like this place very much.
tested this restaurant as reading some reviews female waitress very rude with a keeping eating fat spicy tasted by a very unhygienic and dirty restaurant toilets stinking and filthy menus dirty and baked in food
