I'm writing this review to inform you that the restaurant is closed on weekdays from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. I called earlier in the morning to order some frozen pizzas as a gift, but when I arrived at 3:00, it was closed and they remained closed for the next few days. I tried calling multiple times but didn’t get any response. There was no notice on the door besides a simple "We're closed," and I couldn't find any information about this online. So, be sure to avoid visiting between 2:00 and 4:00 PM during the week!
I grew up on Delorenzo's pizza. But lately every single time I order it, the crust is so black! 3 times in a row. When I'm spending $26 on a pie it better not be burnt crust all the way around, which it has been. I'm gonna give it one more shot. I'm talking black crust, not just crispy. Also, it's always drowning in sauce. My friend who I go with, doesn't even want to go eat the pizza here anymore. C'mon Delo's read the reviews! Get back to old school pie, please!
This place is better than the Delorenzo's in Robbinsville. It's more laid-back and less pretentious, with a quirky location, but the pizza is outstanding. The plain pie is truly one-of-a-kind and unbeatable. I would stack this slice against any of the best in New York—it's superior to Papa's and Marcellos. None of the local spots even come close. This is definitely the place to be.
This is the best pizza I've had around this area. The crust has a nice cracker crunch. I ordered a large pepperoni tomato pie and was not let down. They're better than the DeLorenzo's in Robbinsville, NJ.
I am from ny I love the salad but the pizza was ok at best I give a 7.5 sauce cheese very good it’s thin an crispy but the dough had no flavor. Dave Porto from bar stool does not know pizza
Pretty decent place. We ordered 2 large pizzas which were quite big but the crust was completely burnt in BOTH pizzas. Overall nice place.
My family has been coming here for years! We love the friendly atmosphere and the delicious tomato pie!!! Best tomato pie in NJ!!!
The restaurant didn't follow the requested instructions for making the pizza, and it also tasted stale.
