Been a long time fan and have been always had a great experience with service and food. It had been awhile since our last visit, service and atmosphere was still very good,but unfortunately it seems things have declined with the changes in the menu. Our food was to say the least underwhelming, attention to detail was missing as none of our plates had vegetables that we had ordered delivered with them on. The Scampi shrimp was ok but not close as what it was before and was delivered without the Side sauce. The Derby is always our favorite. Last nights Frank family wine dinner was outstanding, the staff was great, food was amazing and love the Halloween decorations. Thanks to the wonderful chef and staff everything was delicious . . . The black truffle popcorn, roasted cauliflower bisque, baby beet salad, Australian lobster tail, wagyu short ribs and the dark chocolate pate. Could not pick a favorite since they were all so yummy. Frank Family vineyards had a fabulous lineup of wine pairings and their representative was delightful and informative. Thank you for another extraordinary dining experience.
My girlfriend and I decided to come here for date night over the weekend. While she had been here previously with family, it was my first time and was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. We decided on sharing a starter Caesar salad with the 16oz New York strip with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was flavorful and perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were tasty. We will definitely be making another trip back here.

Finally checked out this restaurant as they're part of DineLA. The menu looked really good. For $65 per person we got: Crispy Brussels sprouts Tortilla soup The derby delight 8oz sliced filet mignon Prime rib (additional $10) Bread pudding Amaretto cheesecake We enjoyed the bread a lot. Overall, it was an okay dining experience. The food was okay but came out cold.
celebrated my mother in laws birthday tonight at the derby. from the start the service was excellent, constantly refiling drinks and being invisible while doing so. the food was delicious and timely for our party of 5 and we look forward to going back again soon!
This place is over priced and food is awful got food poisoning from here and service also sucked don't recommend this place unless you like undercooked food and crappy service !!
Every time I go to the Derby for family dinners we are never disappointed. Service is outstanding and cuisine excellent. Recommend it without reservation.

The Derby is classic steak house near Santa Anita Race Track. Old school, , and a great bar. Always a good choice when you're in Arcadia.
The dinner was delicious and great service by all of the staff! We have been going there many years!
