The whole experience at Deville Diner was wonderful. My husband and I sat in a nice little booth upstairs which felt fun and cosy. I had a Cote D'Azur cocktail and my husband the Black Rain both were delicious. The fried pickles were hot and crispy with a nice creamy, mustardy dipping sauce. There was a marinara sauce as well. We both had salads and we were both really pleased with our choice. I had the steak salad with red chimichurri sauce and it was hearty as well as delicious. The menu looks amazing, but sadly didn't live up to my expectations. The short ribs were very tender and flavorful, which was great, but were served with their special "sweet Mac&Cheese" which was really *far* too sweet, overpowering the savory taste that is normally look for, and serving as a poor counterpoint to the ribs. I also tried the poutine, and was disappointed to find it was oversalted and low in flavor. Lovely dinner. I had the chop chop salad and husband had the hanger steak. His was excellent mine was ok but not due to preparation. I expected to be able to take out the eggs but the menu was accurate as grated egg. I didn’t care for the cornbread croutons that were in the dish. Presentation was 10/10. I had the pretty in pink spritz and husband had the old fashioned style drink. Overall nice dinner, a bit loud w music. Aly our server was very happy and had a great personality very attentive as well.
Stopped in to celebrate my daughter's birthday with one of her friends. Decor is super fun, especially on the bar side. Service was excellent. Had the Deville burger, steak salad and vegan pasta. All were delicious. Drinks came in coconut shells and were a lot of fun. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is not a restaurant for people over 40. Discotheque loud and they tried to put us at a lousy table for two against a wall rather than a small booth they were holding for the younger set.
First time at this diner. Loved the food choices, good portion sizes. A bit expensive but totally worth it. Very filling as well.
It was awesome food, amazing service. The flavors were so well done. I would definitely recommend this place.
